We cater for riders of all abilities; our instructors are BHS or ABRS qualified and experienced to look after you even if it is your first time on a horse.
Ponies and Horses
A variety of resident horses and ponies are on hand to take all ages and abilities on rides through woodland trails, riverside hacks or in our specialised arenas with accompaniment from our fully qualified teaching staff.
Newton Ferrers Equus offers a range of riding activities for all abilities in the beautiful countryside of the South Hams, Devon. We are lucky to enjoy some of the best scenery England has to offer, with hacking over idyllic farmland and even days out to the beach or the local pub!
Pony Club
Join our busy Pony Club to learn more about ponies, improve practical skills and have fun in the process.
Livery Yard
Newton Ferrers Equus is British Horse Society approved Livery Yard. The yard has high quality facilities catering for all types of horses and ponies. Clients are given full use of the yards facilities and we regularly run on site competitions through the riding school.
